About Cheylesmore Appliances

Cheylesmore Appliances is an independent editorial website about household appliances. We publish model guides, reliability notes and troubleshooting advice for dishwashers, washing machines, fridge freezers and other kitchen and laundry appliances.

What we do

Product listings tell you what an appliance can do on day one. Our guides cover what happens after that: how to set it up properly, what the error codes mean, which maintenance jobs prevent breakdowns, and which faults are worth repairing. Each guide is based on manufacturer specifications and manuals, supplemented by the problems owners report most often.

What we do not do

We do not sell appliances, take orders or carry out repairs, and we are not affiliated with any manufacturer or retailer — including any shop with a similar name. This domain previously hosted a retail website; since 2026 it has been run as an independent information project, and none of the earlier shop pages, offers or contact details apply any more.

Editorial standards

• Specifications are taken from manufacturer documentation and checked against the model number.
• Troubleshooting steps are limited to safe checks an owner can make; anything involving electrical, gas or sealed refrigeration work is flagged for a qualified technician.
• Guides show the date they were last reviewed and are updated when we find better information.
