Delivery & Return for Cheylesmore Appliances

1. Delivery Options and Times:

  • Standard Delivery: Orders are typically delivered within 5-7 business days.
  • Express Delivery: Orders are delivered within 2-3 business days for an additional fee.

2. Delivery Charges:

  • Standard Delivery: Free for orders over £100. A flat rate of £10 for orders below £100.
  • Express Delivery: £20 flat rate.

3. Delivery Locations:

  • We deliver to residential and commercial addresses within the United Kingdom.
  • For remote or hard-to-reach locations, delivery times may vary.

4. Tracking Your Order:

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking information.
  • You can track your order status through our website under the 'Track Order' section.

Returns Policy

1. Return Eligibility:

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Products must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and accessories.

2. Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom or personalized items.
  • Clearance or final sale items.
  • Used or damaged items not caused by shipping.

3. Return Process:

  • Contact our customer service team at support@cheylesmoreappliances.com to initiate a return.
  • Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and detailed instructions on how to return your item.

4. Return Shipping Costs:

  • If the return is due to a defect or error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.
  • For all other returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

5. Refunds:

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase.
  • Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

6. Exchanges:

  • If you need to exchange an item for a different model or type, please contact our customer service team. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

7. Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team immediately with photos and a description of the issue. We will arrange for a replacement or refund.

Refund Policy for LaptopnZone

Cheylesmore Appliances uses its own vehicles to deliver kitchen appliances and large TVs, We only deliver to our local area including Coventry, Warwick, Rugby and Leamington Spa. If you are unsure or want to confirm if we deliver to your home please call us on 02476 505034. We can on most occasions offer a Next Day Delivery service when ordering items we hold in stock before 7pm. For orders over £250 delivery is free of charge.

We also offer weekend deliveries. However, the locations we deliver to on weekends will vary and we may not be able to offer a weekend delivery to your area.

Delivery

To keep our prices as competitive as possible, our standard deliveries are made by one man only. Our driver will wheel your product into an unobstructed ground floor room of your choice. As a result we only offer our standard delivery service to ground floor properties. Please call us if this affects your order as undelivered products caused by this problem will incur a redelivery charge. 

Two Man Delivery

If your delivery is not to an unobstructed ground floor area, then we can provide a two-man delivery service, but at a premium of £29.99. For American fridge freezers, range cookers and other large items, a two man delivery is often strongly recommended. 
  • If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days depending on your card issuer's policies.

  • If your return is rejected (e.g., item is not in its original condition), we will notify you and return the item to you at your expense.

Arranging a Delivery Date

Items which we hold in stock will usually be delivered to you within a few working days - often the following day. 
Items which we have to order from the manufacturer will take longer to deliver; typically 4-7 working days depending on the particular product. You can track your order status on our website; when the Track Order page shows your items are in stock we will contact you to arrange delivery, otherwise we will send you an email/SMS when your items are ready for delivery.

Delivery Times

Our standard deliveries are made between the hours of 8am and 7pm, 7 days a week. A signature will be required upon delivery.

2-Hour Timeslots

You will be notified of your 2-hour delivery timeslot by email or phone the day before delivery. For next day delivery service, we will be unable to notify you of your timeslot any earlier than this because our automated route planning system will be planning the delivery routes up until this time.
This means that you cannot choose/change your delivery timeslot, and once issued you must be available to accept delivery. Please ensure that you can be available all day on the date you select; if you subsequently find you cannot keep to your chosen delivery date you must notify us before 12 noon one working day before otherwise failed delivery or redelivery charges will apply

Failed Delivery Charges

Where a pre-arranged agreed day has been given for delivery and we are prevented from delivering the goods due to there being no one at the address, or we are unable to make the delivery for other reasons such as those mentioned above, you may be liable to pay a failed delivery charge. This also applies if you cancel a delivery after the goods have been loaded onto the van for delivery to you. Details of failed delivery charges are set out in our

Failed Delivery Charges

For a fee of £9.99 we can remove your old appliance when we deliver your new one. The old appliance must be disconnected and outside your property at time of delivery.
